How it actually works
- Six segments, one hour each. The rules require the course delivered as hour long segments, so that is how it is built. Finish one, walk away, come back tomorrow. It remembers where you stopped.
- Any device with a browser. Phone, tablet, laptop, the shop computer. Nothing to install.
- The clock is honest. Six hours means six hours. Anybody promising you a faster six hours is promising you something the board does not allow, and you are the one holding the certificate.
- Certificate the day you finish. Emailed the minute the last segment closes out, not mailed to you in two weeks.
- Hours reported to the board inside the window the rules give us.
One honest caveat
Who online is wrong for
Some guys do not learn off a screen and know it about themselves. Some want to ask a question out loud and get the answer right there. If that is you, take the live class in DFW instead. It costs twenty dollars more and it is worth it to the right person. If you would rather have paper in your hands, the workbook is the same six hours.
What it costs
$95. One price, posted, no founding member gimmick and no coupon to hunt for. That is the same figure the big national provider charges for the same online six hours. We are not undercutting anybody and we are not charging a premium. At the same money, the only question left is who is teaching it.

Can I finish the six hours in one sitting?
You can, but you do not have to. It is six one hour segments and it saves where you stop, so most people spread it over a few evenings.
Can I take it faster than six hours?
No, and nobody can legitimately offer that. The requirement is six hours and the course is delivered in hour long segments.
When do I get my certificate?
The day you finish. It is emailed the moment the last segment closes out, and your hours are reported to the board inside the required window.
I am applying for an exam. Can I still take it online?
Ask first. Exam applicants can be held to a different standard than license holders renewing. Email us and we will tell you straight.
